It led me to a non-alcoholic summer

 (file photo)
I'M MOVING IN TWO DAYS!
I cleaned so much of the disgusting house that I have lived in for a year. One of the things that I learned is that jocks and sportos DO NOT CLEAN. Since I have a roommate who has lived there for three years (who is cool as shit, though), I can’t imagine how no one has bothered to clean anything EVAR. It took four mop buckets of mop solution and bleach to get the initial layer of crap off of the kitchen floor. Then I got on my hands and knees and scrubbed that motherfucker with bleach spray, and washed the walls and baseboards with anti-bacterial wipes, because, let’s face it, this shit needed to be anti-bacced.

We are really looking forward to decorating and especially living together, which led to a string of supergrossromanticalmostmarried tweets and texts, which I will not go into so you don’t throw up on your keyboard. Updates to come. I’m going to New York for the first time ever on Thursday. Wish me luck!

I feel really skinny today. All of my clothes are fitting really well, which is an achievement since Feb-May was seriously the fattest I've ever been in my life. Its probably from cleaning and not eating. I'll take it, though.

Sweet disposition

Had a wonderful time on Saturday with Des (@Art_Deco_Dame) and Jess (@MissJessH) at the Bluefin Bistro. Wonderful sushi was had, in addition to my first good Bluefin experience.

The job search is wearing me out. I am either over qualified or not qualified enough. Its so easy to spot scam jobs though. I've been keeping a list of everything I've applied for, but this whole experience is scary. I'm looking to start a career, yet Purdue hasn't prepared me at all. Do you change your resume for each job? I don't know! I feel like they were just willing to take my money, while not giving me the best collegiate experience available.

I'm watching 500 Days of Summer and loving life. Woke up next to the most beautiful man this morning, and I'll get to see him again tomorrow. We cooked like a cute little married couple last night. Amazing food. Cannot ask for more.

The Amazing Spiderman

Everything is going extremely well. I'm still on track to graduate within the next two weeks. I can't wait to do this. Every time I kiss Mark, I fall in love with him a little more. I can't imagine finding anyone more perfect for me than he is. Getting to go to Bloomington to meet all his friends was wonderful, and I feel pretty accepted. Nothing makes me happier than waking up with him, eating cereal, feeding Winnie pop-tart corners, and then nerding out.

I haven't had the time to hang out with anyone lately, and I'm sorry. I want to hang out, but school needs to be finished, and now my car can't leave the county under penalty of not having a car anymore.

I also have realized that I am completely over bars/getting drunk, and would rather sit home and read on most days than feel like crap the next morning. I don't think its me growing up, my liver just can't handle a party these days. Super lame. Like I've always said, I'm just not cool.

Every time I find a stray eyelash, I make the same wish on it.

Recap

^Rollin' with the homies ^

I just got back from Brownsburg this morning. I think I made an amazing life decision by staying another night. I really can't describe how silly everything has been lately (in a good way). Mark and I have fun doing everything. We had fun at the grocery store the two times we went yesterday, fun at Half Price Books, fun sitting outside of his work while he was closing. I've never had this much fun with someone. We both came to the conclusion during one of our stay up until 6 AM normal talk nights that we really, really can't see how either of us could get mad at each other. Its like nothing I've ever experienced. I'm really grateful to everyone I've ever dated because it has led to this extreme happiness. We made dinner for his parents last night (a Giada DiLaurentiis dish called 'Roman chicken') and watched the Royal Tenenbaums while being absolutely ridiculous. Everything culminates into a feeling of the 4th of July and Christmas all rolled into one. I can't get enough!

Its even amazing that I don't check anyone out. Even Harrison Ford is paling in comparison. Every other relationship I've ever had I've felt like I was missing out on something. Not this time. I can't imagine meeting anyone more perfect who compliments me more. I'm sitting next to all 6 volumes of 'Kickass' and Batman comics by Alan Moore. Its wonderful that Mark wants to share his passion and nerdness for comics. I'd never read a comic before in my life, but they're pretty awesome. I'm almost done with the Sandman series, and trucking through Y: The LAst Man.

This blog makes no sense and does no justice to any feelings I'm having.

FYBIRTHDAY PRESENT

I'm chilling with my Darth Vader alarm clock. Everything is going so amazing. Tony got to meet Mark yesterday and said that he really liked him and "I can't believe you actually got a rad dude to want to be disgusting with you." If I can be too happy, I'm quickly approaching it.

Ridiculous

This is exactly how I feel right now. As soon as I stopped looking, I really stumbled on an amazing guy. Mark is such a gentleman, completely adorable, and I haven't stopped smiling since Monday night. He even loves Lady Gaga. Woweeee, I'm a lucky girl!

I know this is redundant.

Eric and I broke up again. Its been a constant bickering fest for a while now. This just sucks really bad. I love him so much, but I don't know what to do to make this better. We are both Pisces, swimming in both directions at the same time. We are also passionate, and very strong-willed. We know how to hurt each other. Like he said earlier, its really embarrassing to be going back and forth especially with everything being public on the internet. This just plain old sucks. I'm confused. I'm not mature. And I don't know whether to pick being together and fighting or alone and depressed.

Maybe I'll never have anything work out for me.

Frustrated.

Vintage!

If I have to deal with one more slutty girl, I will throw up. Last night Aubrey, Ash, and I among others went to the Mineshaft to get our lady-dance on. Kelzey, a girl that Eric knows, who has tried to start things with me before, and who I very much do not like tried to start something with me by texting him and telling him I was doing things I shouldn't be. All this girl does is stand around being butt-ugly and wanting to fuck my boyfriend. Among the two other slutty girls I come in contact with or have to live with knowing they are still in existence, make me so sick. I don't understand how you can have such little self-respect to realise that guys are only talking to you because you're like the town bicycle; everyone has had a free ride.

Eric got mad at me for calling at bitching her out. I couldn't help it. I am so sick of girls thinking that they can talk to my boyfriend in a sexual way and there be no reprocussions from me. I've been through Hell for and with this boy, and I'm not letting this go that easily. The 'scene,' for lack of a better word, is so disgusting. Just because you have tattoos does not make you exciting. Just because you can drink a lot does not make you cool. I had so much fun with Ash and Aub making hand gestures for 'Too Legit to Quit' than I had the entire time I was at the bar. Indianapolis has a lot of potential. Its a beautiful city. It just happens to have quite a large slut problem.

Side note: I do not want Aubrey to move! I better get really accquainted with SouthWest Airlines.

Seriously, unless we're friends, I don't want to hear about my relationship. Don't talk about it, don't think about it, and maybe drink some of the anti-freeze in your parent's garage.
